The Goodwill Foundation is a non-profit, non-political, voluntary organisation established in the year 1997 through the initiative of like-minded activists including journalist, civil servants, educationists, students, youth and farmers of Mizoram, and expending its services throughout the state of Mizoram. It has been registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in the year 1998.

Our Mission

We seek to achieve holistic development of society through empowerment by organizing people, building their capacity to use their potential and resources effectively and to develop and uplift the down-trodden sections of society in different forms of development


Our Approach

We are striving to carry out our mission by adopting the empowerment approach. Empowering the grassroots people through information, awareness, education, motivation as well as conscientization, training for capacity and skill building and sustainable micro-economic activities, which are local, specific, and eco-friendly and need specific are its agenda. Promotion of sustainable and manageable peoples organizations and addressing issues relevant and feasible has made us to be a veritable development organization in the area.


Our Area of operation

Our area of operation covers the seven north eastern states of India comprising Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura Assamand Arunachal Pradesh covering the whole population indiscriminate of caste, creed, tribe, colour or religion.


Recent Projects


"Uplifting of Economic Conditions of Mizos through Pig Breeding"


The Goodwill Foundation, Aizawl distributed GCI Sheet and cement to 130 selected farmers in Sihfa, Dilkhan and Tualbung villages in Aizawl district on recently.


The items distributed to the farmers are meant for construction of pigsties. After completion of pigsties construction, the Foundation will give two female piglets each to the farmers for breeding.Read More..
